Here in the internet,we have everything.
From serious to silly things.
To pictures of cats and famous beings.

Can we interest you in anything at all?
How about a place to vent and feel whole?
We can fill up your empty void.

Or slowly destroy you.
We could entertain or even employ you.
But it wasn’t always the same.

Nowadays,we treat it like a game.
Hiding behind profile pictures and fake names.
Some people are kind,even sweet.

Others are here as they admit defeat.
But it wasn’t always like this.
There was catalogs,travel blogs.

And a chatroom or two.
People nowadays grow up in this space.
A place where not everyone shows their face.

Here, anything you think of can be found.
In a rather large amount.
Your mom used to lend you her phone.

And you would go and play games.
And you knew so many stories and names.
Could I interest you in everything all of the time?

Something to help you or fill out your time?
But if we stick together, there is so much we can do.
We can make this a better place so it’s not any amount of cruel.

No need to panic,this isn’t a test.
We are here to serve or help you rest.
You want pictures of cats, that’s okay.

Log on,and search for anything, any day.
And look at you, you’ve all grown up.
Look at us.

The internet somehow never rust.
You are unstoppable.
And many of us are kind.

Just looking for somewhere to put your mind.
Here,anything you can find.
Come online now,this isn’t a test.

We are built to entertain you and help you rest.
You can be happy or sad.
You can be angry or mad.

Because this is the internet, anything can happen.
And we would do anything to make it better.
In the internet,we seeked shelter.
