All Chapters in the Series: Poems

There’s a few things i never told anybody.
Like how some nights I lied awake.
Or the things I Tell myself for my sake.

Words on paper oh so pale.
Some shared,some not.
And my hopes to live among a peaceful, starry veil.

The things I did,the things I forbid.
On days I didn’t feel like myself.
There is things I never told anyone at all.

They haunt my mind and prevent me from feeling whole.
Sometimes, even I keep skeletons in my closet.
Some thrown in recently,some not.

Oh the things we all wish we could tell.
They haunt us,taunt us.
So we go and watch the stars that fell.

Like the days so bad, everything had almost ended.
The peaceful feeling of just lying in bed.
And watching the thoughts in my head swim.

Like fish, waiting to be released into one big ocean.
Would people run?
Or would you stay?

Would you scream and run to get away?
Things I never told anybody.
We all keep secrets, that is true.

The memories and thoughts haunt us like a fool.
You don’t have to tell anyone if you don’t want to.
We all keep ancient skeletons in the closet.

If only I could let the words spill away.
Without watching loved ones run away.
Or maybe they would stay?

I can’t quite tell.
That is not for me to tell,I can just guess.
And hope it doesn’t become a mess.

Words spill on the pages like ink.
Don’t overthink it,just write it.
And I will stand right beside it.

You don’t have to hide it,nobody is perfect.
The pages rustle,I run my hand through it.
But who am I to fool them?

Even I have imperfections.
People from all sorts of nations.
