Chilly wind and ocean shores.
Come to the beach,no need for doors.
But there is a feeling divine.

Your feet in cold ocean water.
And it peacefully pauses time.
The air smelled fresh and sandy.

Icecream, corn on the cob,and maybe even candy.
Seashells scattered all around.
What will be bound, what will be found?

And bare feet on the sand,on the ground.
Oh,if only I could go there again on a summer day.
It will make all my worries go away.

All of my dread and worry.
And I’ll even bring my favorite person with me.
Let us swim, build sandcastles and play.

And all the kids wish they could go there everyday.
Because it’s oh so peaceful.
Kids laugh and play.

And it feels soothing, dipping in the ocean all the way.
Oh beach,you sunny wonder.
What will it feel like,I ponder.

When I finally come back again.
Will you offer sunshine?
Will I forget you all over again?

All the memories I made as a child.
Some happy,sad or wild.
When I was little,I yearned for the beach.

But now it seems out of reach.
I still remember the feeling of my feet in the cold water.
Life helps you play and teach.

Whatever it is you seek.
Just swim very,very deep.
Without changes we don’t progress.

Life can be cruel.
And so I wear my favorite dress.
Because why not wear it today?

life doesn’t last forever anyway.
And so it brings me back to that same beach.
For nights,I laid awake and preach.

For me to have peace, for the sand to teach.
Sometimes,I still catch a whiff of that familiar scent.
My body and mind begin to ascend.

And I admired the moon crescent.
Laying in the hot,beach sand.
