When we meet again,stay longer.
We were kids, over the years we ponder.
And hoped lives were full of wonder.

If we meet again,please stay.
Just longer, you can leave anytime at the end of the day.
Not forever, because we both have lives.

We were there for eachother as kids.
And we managed to quiet our cries.
No,I know you can’t stay forever.

I miss the times we were together.
But we both had different paths.
You probably avoided stepping on the broken cracks.

Please,if we meet again in another universe.
Just stay a little while longer.
We can drink hot cocoa.

We could watch the stars as we ponder.
You were going to go away eventually, that I know.
Our minds the same, our bodies grow.

And our lives softly flow, separated from one another.
If we could ever meet again.
I know life won’t ever be plain.

But it pains me to think, that you left because secretly you didn’t like me.
It hurts to think that deep down you weren’t happy.
If we ever met again, let me stay longer.

Linger next to me as thoughts ponder.
It could be a wonder if that were real.
A whole universe about the way I feel.

Where we never had to separate paths.
Do you still remember me in our beating hearts?
It hurts me to think you moved on.

Found your path and a different home.
And a brand new wallpaper on your phone.
If we meet again, let the memories stay longer.

I just can’t be like this.
Thinking about all the different moments in bliss.
While you move on with a different friend.

If my house burns down, don’t abandon me.
And help me defend.
