The moon glowed.
The wind softly flowed.
And it’s been a long night shift.

Night and day drift.
And at the end,the moon goes to rest.
In its very own little space.

It calls it,the moonscape.
It never arrives late.
And it offers the moon a food filled plate.

It has moonlit flowers,starry skies.
And there,time really flies.
Sometimes on a rare eclipse.

The moonscape and sunscape combine.
And the sun and moon spend peaceful time.
Moonscape,sunscape.

Which is which?
It feels like it has a switch.
For the skies go from blue to starry.

Sometimes it’s two different dimensions.
And sometimes they fuse.
But it’s always put to good use.

The sun and moon use it to rest.
There they watch movies and nobody protest.
After a long night shift.

After night and day drift.
They each have their own little space.
To rest and relax the muscles on their face.

And then, going back to work after.
Night and day.
At the end, like kids they laugh and play.

And eclipses bring them together.
Their own little space they built together.
From stars and asteroids.

Starlight and glimmer.
It was all built from scratch.
And it exists to serve a purpose.

The sun uses it to sleep and rest.
And the moon,to test out ideas for new stars.
At the end of a shift, the door isn’t far.

A dimension among time and space.
Rocks and stars play and race.
The sun and moon are protectors.

A familiar face.
The moonscape and sunscape collide.
And it mixes day and night.

Into a wonderful eclipse.
That place is bliss.
And is used just like this.
