Little rose,I heard your plea.
I sensed your scent as floral as can be.
I called out your name beyond the sea.

I’m sorry I couldn’t reach out to you.
For life in the night sky is not easy.
I know you struggled and it doesn’t please me.

I received all of your prayers and letters.
I tried my best to reach out.
But you were hurting and it wasn’t your fault.

You kept some things hidden in a vault.
Oh little rose, don’t you dare cry.
Not in front of the bumblebees that fly.

I watched from up above in the night sky.
As you grew older, you slowly learned to fly.
And your scent is as floral as ever.

Oh my little rose,I’m sorry.
I wished we could be together.
But you are on Earth and I am in the sky.

You pondered over my existence, asking “”why?””.
Why I wasn’t there.
Even when life gave you a scare.

And so,I tried to give you the moon.
He is my closest friend.
I sent him to you,to soothe and help defend.

Oh little rose,I watched your delicate petals go vibrant red.
Anytime moonlight projected onto you.
And I mentally held your hand.

Oh little rose, here is my response.
And you get to read this at last.
I will bring sunshine over the shadow above you that cast.

Tell me,will we ever meet face to face?
Stars amongside me twinkled in grace.
And I wish you were with me in space.

Alas, you wouldn’t be able to breathe.
I sent the moon to you in need.
And it softly cradled your wounded body.

I tried my best to make you heal.
At the end, sight of cosmos makes you reel.
