A traffic light stood before me.
It glowed nice and bright.
But should I go on?

Despite the red light?
Once it’s green,then suddenly red.
And time sped up like a movie.

I drove all this way.
Yet the red light goes through me.
Should I stop and take a pause?

And is it the right driveway?
Do I go back all the way?
It feels like I can’t.

Stuck in a fast driveway.
There were cars all around.
Blue,red,even green.

A yellow taxi,a modern car with a screen.
It took me ages just to come here.
But is it the right way?

The green light shined before me.
So I try to continue anyway.
Because time here never pause.

And if you don’t move along to the destination, you block other cars.
And when you run out of gasoline.
You take on an eternal nap.

Sometimes,the driveway is a trap.
They tell me,go towards the green light.
And push through red.

That way you will be safe.
That way you will be fed.
Do I stop when other cars stop too?

Or do I go do what people say?
Maybe that way I will be good enough.
And hopefully people will stay.

They say,if you don’t stop at red,you are in danger.
At the same time, they tell me to force my way through.
Even if I know it may hurt me.

I didn’t drive all this way for nothing.
People tell me,do this and that.
But where is my own happiness in that?

If only I could stop at red and take a break.
I am only human.
So I know it doesn’t make me weak.

It’s been a hard week for me.
But even I need rest.
Life in this driveway is a test.

That deems how strong you are.
And you hop in,hoping to get far.
