Nobody tells you about their teenage days.
All the fast heartbeat and blurry daze.
Love is a four letter word.

We all know that.
But not everyone knows how it feels.
All the blushing and excited reels.

How it feels to be held by a lover.
Or the way your name sounds from another.
Nobody ever told me where to look.

They say,trust your gut.
And let life lead you.
For quite a while,I searched in all the wrong places.

I discovered how it feels from my hammering heartbeat and the dazes.
Nobody told me some things about love.
Like how to earn it or how to love yourself.

We all go through a different journey.
And when we taste love on our tongue,it tastes like honey.
I went years without any advice.

And for a while,I was led by fiction.
Because it felt the safest.
Fiction followed into my dreams and held me tight.

And it slowly gave me will to fight.
Things nobody had told me about love.
Yes,they vary.

For some it’s hard or even scary.
I won’t be like those people,I will give you my wisdom.
So that you are not afraid when you find it.

When it happens,there is no need to hide it.
