The Lady Who Knows Everything

I heard about an old ,folklore tale.
It was about a star that fell.
And from that star,came a lady.

The lady that knows everything.
She was fair and tall.
Her hair long,falling over her shoulders.

She introduced herself,and said she knows everything.
She knows all the secrets in the world.
She knows how to handle every problem.

And her eyes sparkled in the sun.
I asked her what my life meant.
And this is what she kindly said.

Don’t you worry,my child.
With time,you will know everything you need to know.
This lady knows how to walk.

How to not trip.
And how to be the most effective.
She knows how to defeat all her fears.

She held my hand and I listened with my ears.
She gave me unforgettable advice.
That life is like rolling a dice.

The lady knew just how to behave right.
And how to be everything I am not.
She told me her secrets.

I asked her how to not let myself rot.
She knew all the answers in the world.
And how to not make it hurt.

She knows just what to do and say.
Her eyes were brown like mine,music play.
I asked her,tell me.

What did I do wrong?
What could I have done?
She told me,life is unpredictable.

And together,we watched the rising sun.
I asked her,how do I walk or run?
Should I focus more on the fun?

She told me back,my dear,one day.
You will know all you need to know,the pain will go away.
I wished,that I could be the lady who knows everything.

But that is merely impossible.
The lady knows how to be always kind.
How to ignore hurt and pay no mind.

She knows how to forgive and forget.
And how everything is made and set.
Alas, I am not the lady that knows everything.

I’m only human,but I wished to be her.
To have all the answers.
And to find peace and acceptance in darkness.
