A person in front of you stays still.
Do with your opinion of him as you will.
He isn’t in a rush,he sits still.

And people wonder why.
He doesn’t seem to have wings,so he can’t fly.
The moment others saw he is different.

They stripped his wings away.
He seemed kind of strange.
And so very few people wondered if he’s okay.

He has two different eyes.
One brown,one yellow.
But he also started as a normal fellow.

Just like we all did.
He built his reputation high and well.
For years,he wished on a wishing well.

But the moment people saw he was strange.
His life had a different arrange.
And most people walked away.

The others too,so that they don’t end up the same way.
Broken,isolated.
Bright future and expectations stripped away.

But we are all human at the end of the day.
Treated like a circus.
Blown far away by wind.

And held onto a nearby object to get back up.
If only someone could have walked by.
And give him back his wings so he could fly.

Stay in front of them and say loud,no!
A lot of us blindly follow.
Just so we don’t live our lives in sorrow.

Monster,human.
Does it matter?
We are all living beings.

Chasing our hopes and dreams.
Wings,but legs human.
Eyes in two colors.

Strong sense of smell for odors.
But still a living being.
Let my words lull you as they sing.

Because life could be just like Monster High.
We could accept our freakish flaws.
Whether human or with claws.

Nobody is perfect,we all have flaws.
And yet,we follow blindly.
To not be left behind.

Staying silent when it comes to speaking your mind.
One day,you may stumble upon the odd one out.
You will hold out your hand and help them out.

And the cycle shall be broken.
