Sleep Well

Come along down with me in a place of joy.
Where none works and nobody need to work and employ.
During sunny day and hour of joy.

Where every kid gets a new toy.
Us children, we have eachother.
We laugh and protect like no other.

A time of need where we dreamt of a princess in a tower.
As kids,we sleep peaceful and well.
As adults,we develop an outer shell.

Freedom,that’s what we need.
Us children are there in times of evil and need.
And we didn’t experience any greed.

The children,they help us feed.
And stand in front of all evil proudly.
Can you see us,the children in need?

When freedom was taken away as soon as we got older?
As adults,we dream on but ponder.
We want freedom,the voices echoed.

To be loved,cared for and protected,no matter age.
Now we sleep,and work for a minimal wage.
In the hour of joy,we dream on and become kids again.

And we sleep well once more.
We want to smile,and suffer no more.
But adulthood also opened a new door.

That no kid can reach.
As adults,we grow.
And others,we teach.

Come along down with me.
To a land empty of greed.
We children,we have eachother.

And we rule the world like no other.
A land,where dreams and hopes come true.
And nobody lies in a cage.

And nobody works for a minimal wage.
We understand things on a deeper stage.
But adults ;earn new things aswell.

We teach others how to be stronger and avoid hell.
And we will pick back up any kids that fell.
In the hour of joy,us kids hope you also sleep peaceful and well.

Adults are often kids that went through hell.
Freedom is what we need.
In times of evil and greed.

Children,we will help you all.
In the hour of joy,we finally felt whole.
