Feeling Better

Bookmark
Summary:
A poem about the things that make us feel better.
This entry is part 21 of 10 in the series Poems

I always feel better after a relaxing day.
When tiredness sets in and headache goes away.
When birds around me chirp and bumblebees fly.

With clouds,soaring up high.
I always feel better on a bad day.
When his words and gestures chase the sadness away.

I always feel better looking at the moon.
Because it signalizes it’ll be nighttime soon.
Which means time to sleep.

And travel into dreamland,very deep.
I always feel better after a slice of cake.
That I buy or perhaps bake.

I always feel better when I sit and relax.
As I study or read interesting facts.
And I read the books off my racks.

Sometimes all it needs is a click and go.
When music in my ears flow and lyrics grow.
When I move to the beat,or after a huge defeat.

I always feel better near the sky.
Where the moon is always high up at night.
Starry skies,moonlit stars.

It can take you very far.
Even if you don’t believe so.
Let me drive with you in my car.

Some of us find comfort in music.
And some find comfort in food.
Some find comfort in rest.

Or darkness in the night.
The blue skies in daytime.
Without feeling any fright.

I always feel better the day after the night.
When I rest up well, stars in sight.
And I always feel better when I’m not alone.

I would prefer to be with a friend than on my own.
Or a relaxing bath in my home.
Listening to music through my phone.

Overtime,I have grown.
And differences in life have shown.
I know the sadness will go away.

If I spend my last minutes in his arms.
As everything is gone.
Atleast we won’t be on our own.

I feel better when I think about the way.
The wind blow and music play.
One day,I will go to a land without any worries.

As I soar up in the sky.
And time really fly.
Eventually,I felt better.

Or happy as I write this letter.
Take me to a land with no worried or woe.
Where nobody feels foul.

As hope inside me grow.
Maybe I won’t die alone at the end.
As I go and take his hand.
