One day,a voice came to me.
And told me what I see isn’t real.
It was a normal,summer day.

The birds fly away.
And children laugh and play.
I was just enjoying my day.

And a voice said,stay.
For I have something important to tell you.
And it may shake you to the core.

But nothing you see is real or lasts forever.
The trees,the grass out there.
And the sun up there.

Yes,none of it is real.
And so my world crumbles.
As it was only what I feel.

The world I lived in was a simulation.
I saw the wall glitch,my breath hitch.
And the floor disappeared too.

I saw what was beyond it.
For my world was just a decoy.
All the people were paid actors.

And so I floated into the matrix.
I traveled beyond time and space
All while seeking out the truth.

And I wonder,am I real?
Am I artificial?
Am I fake,or special?

Comes out I am not real either.
And I looked into my code.
I realised the truth.

That this world had no creator.
And I were just another human living by life’s rules.
Yes,I am imperfect.

Yes,I have flaws.
But so do you.
We all eventually die.

And sometimes the simulation lets you fly.
Other times it makes you cry.
But our code never goes away.

It lingers in places and other people’s memories.
Sometimes,I look closer and life seems unreal.
For each life is like a simulation.

We all live by certain rules.
And at the end they bury our vessels.
Over and over.

Some simulated happy lives.
Others got backstabbed with knives.
And yet,we are programmed to feel.

As the truth slowly peel.
And so the voice comes back.
Soon you will find all you lack.

And at the end,it goes dark.
