A tree has leaves and roots.
In the night, creatures creep in the woods.
How long do they live?
Do they feel sad and grieve?
A tree sat under the sunlight, roots in the ground.
The wind rustles the leaves it found.
But sometimes during winter, the leaves fall and go away.
At spring,lively cherry blossoms play.
And a breeze softly sway.
As it grows,it gets bigger and taller.
And sometimes,we chop it off.
To create supplies or a home.
A tree with branches all its own.
When I was younger,I used to go to this park.
With some of the oldest, tallest trees with leaves and bark.
It was lovely,that’s true.
For nature is rarely cruel.
And we use it for food and fuel.
Animals often live near it.
Birds live within it.
And if you could, you would greet it.
It’s a spectacle if you see it.
It’s lovely to live near it.
And we are all here for it.
Beaches filled with sand.
With toes in the salty water.
And seafood makes your mouth water, your body stronger.
But do we all eat animal products?
Would the guards of the trees allow it?
Or maybe mother nature herself?
Some prefer not to eat meat.
Others welcome it and eat.
Afterall,we are simply trying to survive.
Whether in hot summer days or cold winter nights.
Nature slowly grows.
And wind rustling the leaves.
What would our world look like if we didn’t cut down trees?
If we didn’t use honey from the bees?
Would the streets be filled with animals and vines?
Would we live in peace?
Whatever the answers are,it is what it is.
And some companies create products without destroying the trees.
Without testing on animals.
Maybe in another world, that could come true.
And we would all be on one opinion.
As nature softly nurtures us.
