They ask me,what is hope?
Is it something true?
Or something you hold onto?

Is it something safe?
Or is it just in your head?
Some wonder if hope is legit.

As they try and defeat the growing pit.
Fill it up with hope, they say.
It’ll we have left these days.

Try to think positively and find new ways.
Hope for some is an addiction.
Or for some it’s a savior at all.

Some say it’s fake.
And others say it helps you grow strong and tall.
Sometimes it can be helpful, just fill your head.

And let the positive thoughts spread.
Surely,it won’t be that bad,right?
If we just have hope all night.

Hope about the next or remaining of the day.
That the bad thoughts will eventually go away.
That all our problems will cease to exist.

And hope is all we cannot resist.
Is hope real,they ask.
And some deal by drinking from a flask.

Is it something that can save your skin?
Make you feel more beautiful, more thin?
Some of us long for hope.

When we chase problems and a certain trope.
Hope is a four letter word.
I’m sure we have all heard.

Just keep it in your head, keep it fed.
And wipe the tears you shed.
Some say hope is just an illusion.

Or maybe even a simple delusion.
And we all eventually come to a conclusion.
Negativity and hope make a fusion.

Hope is something we all need.
When we live, sleep or even feed.
Some destroy it or steal it for greed.

Hope is like a grassy field.
Full of flowers,enchanting.
And magical fairies arise.

And you smile and light up your eyes.
The size of field doesn’t matter.
At the end of the day,no weed lasts forever.

The blue skies,starry nights.
Hope grows big in size.
While your eyes meet.

Sitting and simply stargazing.
No,it’s not a phase.
It’s just a change of face.

Hope wears a yellow cape, gold crown.
And hope it doesn’t drown.
Come on ,erase that frown.

We’ll turn your sadness upside down!
Hope will save you when you drown.
And happiness is what you found.
