The rain fell drop by drop.
Againstt the windowstill,it made a noise.
And there was a pondering choice.

I know it’s late, but this must be my fate.
The rain was just so soothing.
Should I study up late, listening to this rain?

Let it sooth my soul, drive away all the pain.
And eventually I drifted off.
And the rain followed me into my dreams.

I went to another version of my room,it seems.
And out the window was a sea.
In it, a strange creature with fins and tail.

I wondered,what does it entail?
And so the rain echoed in my dreams.
The melody around me softly swims.

I look at that creature and it grins.
A sharp,toothy smile.
And it seems i listened for a while.

When I woke up,my head was on my desk.
And I would hear the rain slowly fading.
But that’s okay.

Rain,please come back another day.
My notes were right beside me.
The noise of rain, left behind me.

And fatigue soon found me.
For the rain sounds oh so soothing.
And it slowly started lulling, into deep sleep.

In the early morning came the sun.
Greeting and saying farewell to the calming rain.
And the sun woke me up to start another day.

But I shall forever remember the sound of rain.
It was like a lullaby,it didn’t have any strain.
My study notes were left right beside me.

And the previous rain left right behind me.
Oh rain, how could I find you?
Does everybody like you?

Or does anyone mind you?
Rain,please come back soon,today.
And let me listen to you sing all the way.

As water droplets fall and dance.
And the sun soon clears up the path.
Late night study, puddles muddy.

And rain seemed in such a hurry.
The rest of that went peaceful and blurry.
