They tell us a fairytale as kids.
About a dashing,little prince.
He came from a planet far away.

Where nobody grows up and magic play.
His best friend were a fox.
Tamed,fur doesn’t have any spots.

The little prince came far and wide.
His world colorful, not black and white.
But there was someone or something he dearly loved.

A rose with petals oh so red.
She was ordinary, but to him,she was special.
He kept her safe, healthy and fed.

The fox was his best friend.
But the rose was special to him, unique.
And on her world, she seemed bleak.

He told me,you, yes you,are my special rose.
That moment between us never decompose.
I think about it even now.

How could he love me,why and how?
And so her red petals spread open wide.
She watched with curious eyes ,and said.

That is a huge promise to be made.
In return, she called him her little prince.
And I remember this memory since.

To a commoner,it was just a movie.
To us,we watched with curious eyes.
Would you be my little prince?

The rose smiled with happy eyes.
Time did flow.
People grow,but memories don’t change.

The little prince and the red rose.
What a wonderful exchange.
And so I told him,you are my little prince.

And even though there is a difference.
It’s our story to tell.
The little prince grew older, stars fell.

Here you go a fairytale unique.
And you can’t tell me it sounds bleak.
The little prince loved the red rose very much.

And he wasn’t ever scared of her thorns and such.
I hope this tale puts you to sleep well.
Sun rised,moon fell.
