Stand Still

When everything turns gloomy,
when hope begins to fade,
when dark clouds gather fiercely
with storms that threaten
to wash away everything you are—

you may whisper,
“What is left now?
Let it all go.”

But deep within,
a small heartbeat rises and says:

“Why are you giving up?
Do not silence me.
I still want to live.
Keep me alive.”

The storm cannot wash away your soul.
Stand still.
Breathe through the thunder.
Let your heartbeat guide you forward.

Even in the darkest wars of history,
when bombs fell from the sky
and fear filled every street,
people still chose to live.

During the Second World War,
voices of courage echoed through the ruins:
“Keep moving.
Do your daily work.
Do not bow before fear.
We will survive.”

And today,
while wars still shake the earth,
while nations struggle through fire and sorrow,
hope still stands among the people.

A leader speaks courage.
Families protect one another.
Soldiers fight for tomorrow.
Children still dream beneath broken skies.

Because humanity refuses to surrender.

So I say to anyone
standing before their own storm:

Do not give up.

You have chased dreams,
fought for your future,
walked through pain
to build the life you wanted.

Then what is this storm?
Only a passing season.

Stand still against the trouble.
Hold close the people you love.
Live for your family.
Live for yourself.
Live because your heartbeat still believes in tomorrow.

And as long as it beats,
you must keep walking forward.
