        • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Thomas. So glad you connected with the lyrics my friend. Appreciate you.

      • Now this one I can see a bit of the dark side. There’s a deeply relatable element to this that transcends subject or time. Depending on the point of being, it fits multiple topics. We write from a perspective and when it’s shared, it develops unexpected layers. I would like to have seen it performed during your 15 minutes of fame. It must have had a tremendous draw to it, my friend

        • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Willow. So glad you connected with the lyrics my friend. I was in a very dark place when I penned this one, I was going through something heavy, and it came out in the words. The one thing I truly love about what we do as writers, is the multiple meanings the reader or listener can take away from our words. We as the writer know what we’re really talking about or going through when we create. The reader doesn’t have those blinders on, they are in fact another point of view, without the writers biases. It is a great little song. It got a response from the crowd. Appreciate you.

      • This makes me feel your pain. The growl had to be wicked on this song.

        • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Fia. So glad you connected with the lyrics my friend. I was in pain when I penned this, so the words are ripe with it. The growl makes its point known. Appreciate you, cuz.

      • Well that’s simply beautiful.
        💋

      • Beyond being so very literate, this poem simply glows with passion and gratitude. It gives me hope in humanity that such a person as you lives on the same beloved Earth as I. I feel very glad that you have experienced this and that I have at least a remote connection to your very special being, dear Elke. Warmly, Jim

        • Your warm words make me blush, dear Jim! I am just an ordinary person like anyone else. We all belong to the human species. We were born on this planet in different appearance and with different attitudes. We should support one another instead of bringing us down and fighting us. Thanks a lot for your gracious comment!

      • There is a universe of emotion packed into this poem. When connection is made, miles mean nothing. Beautiful, Elke

        • My deepest gratitude for your kind comment, dear Willow! A soul connection doesn’t depend on time or distance.

      • Beautifully penned, Elke. Excellent write with such an honest message my friend. What a lovely tribute. Appreciate you.

      • The song is really beautiful, warm and joyous… as I was reading I could feel the melody and beat of it, I love the repeation and alternation between “I” and “you”, it’s like making vows between each other, a truly romantic and lovely love poem.

        • Chère L.,
Since I’m a quarter French, a typical French start.

I’ll pass half of them to Michael A who wrote the lyrics.

À same lyrics challenge, means that everyone who wants to be involved, writes a song to the same lyrics.
I believe that roughly 15 persons participated. But I’m not sure. It’s 7 years ago?!

Grateful for your read and listen!
