This entry is part 19 of 45 in the series Poetry of Life, Death & the In-between

I don’t recall when your roots first entangled my flirting feet.

I do remember that last time your bear form rushed over me.

Too many times to count I playfully teased a willing dark kitty

Who tenderly bantered back.

Most fondly I recall an elven couple soaking in a steamy flowered bath

talking, flirting, romancing

a peaceful scene against the sangria desert backdrop

rampaged by thick angry dust clouds.

Mostly I remember moments of joy, laughter, love

together as we battled through the otherworlds

in another lifetime.

    1. I haven’t connected on all chapters…

The entirety of this work is breathtaking. I wish I had something more eloquent, but I’m sitting here in awe.

      Have a fantastic day, Ruby.
