    • Seems like a cool person. I can relate a lot to the guy. I am more into music than books and poetry. Also reminds me of all the great poets I came across through the years. How I admired them and miss many of them.

      Great interview.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Nick. So glad you enjoyed the interview my friend. He’s a very cool person, hopefully he might show up someday. That door is always open. Thanks so much for your continued support. Appreciate you.

    • Great piece Damian. Your a talent my friend. Is Pete aware of this site?

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Keith. So glad you enjoyed the interview my friend. He’s aware, I think his profile is set up here, he’s just taking some time away. Which I understand. I took over two years away from writing. Thanks for your continued support my friend. Appreciate you.

    • I enjoyed this this Damian. I hope he gets to see this interview.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Fia. So glad you enjoyed the interview my friend. I hope he sees it too. I miss him a lot. Thanks so much for your continued support my friend. Appreciate you.

    • I miss his rapid-fire style & quick (sneaky) wit. Wherever he is now, I hope he’s blowing people’s minds & being properly appreciated. Sigh…

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Willow. I’m sure he is, he is a talent and a gentleman, and it is a sneaky wit. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Mary. I miss him too, he is a talent and a gentleman, I keep hoping he shows up as well. Appreciate you.

    • Wait, you’re saying Pete is missing? Damn. John Lennon was one of the all-time greatest lyricists ever. It’s so cool that Pete comes from Liverpool.

A lot of guys don’t like taking Propranolol regularly. It’s not a friendly drug for the bedroom, if you get my drift. Works good for hypertension and tachycardia, though.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Meg. So glad you enjoyed the interview my friend. Well, not literally. lol. He’s taking a break after the closing of DU. Lennon was an incredible lyricist, the Liverpool part was really cool. He was a gifted writer with a distinct style, and a true gentleman. Unfortunately, they all have some kinda effect. I get your drift though, my bat is still effective when I’m at the plate. lol. Appreciate you.

    Within These Cracks

There are such long-forgotten tracks, hidden here within these cracks, between each and every line...a most nefarious sort of design. While the poetry seeks to beguile, such venom behind every smile—meant, then, to be kissedafter any warning is missed. Or so it always does...

    • Look back but always step forward. This was inspirational, Brenda. Thank you.

      • hello dearest Daniel thank you for the love on this I was feeling stuck so I wrote about it I’m going to keep pushing forward 💕💕

    • I’ve been telling myself the past is not a destination. But it is a guidepost. Despite memory & fear, there’s nothing waiting there. Just an empty space of was-ness. The step forward can be terrifying though

      • hello beautiful Willow I can’t help but retrace my steps thank you for your understanding heart yes it is scary I’m doing my best though I deeply appreciate you bein here 💕

    Transpoetic

With every new coin I toss,or every bridge I dare cross,I do love to step over the line, upending every poetic design. As I again try to make my way,in the quest to somehow unsaythese stanzas within the night, left here forever...

    • This was great… well penned dear poet…

    • Beautifully penned, Naaj. Loved the message of the write my friend. All cat’s are amazing from domestic to the big cats of which you speak. It is a tragedy corporations want to profit off animals by imprisoning them, and sometimes the animals are treated very poorly. That’s Capitalism for you, they don’t treat people any better. Into the book it belongs! Amazing write. Appreciate you.

      • Def inspired by the pic, I wrote this being so moved spiritually.
It’s an older vibe but still resonates within

Thx always for the energy, bro

    • As a tree lover myself, I get you Adira. I’m glad you share my sentiments. Thx fur dropping in

    • I am perpetually in awe of nature. The prey they hunt are no joke, either. It takes serious force & power. These animals are mean & resilient. I work in the wilderness, and there’s been a 350-400 lb eastern black bear male stalking lately, I’ve seen him 4 times in the last six weeks, (with mama and cubs sighted significant distance away)….I am desperate to catch a photo but easier said than done lol

      If I saw a tiger I guess it’d be pants-shittin’ time.

      I don’t like zoos & circuses either.

      • Big thx for leaving such a thoughtful comment, Benjamin. Much appreciated

        Naaj

    • The power of their command is felt and yet they are caged to be looked at as if it changes the core of who they are. This is a good piece.

      • I can only imagine what it might be like to be caged and admired simply because I’m thought of as exotic.
Thx for vibing with this one, Fia.

        Naaj

    • Always appreciate your support and insights, Duende.

      Much respect indeed

      Naaj
