The water level slowly rised.
A feeling nobody liked,all despised.
Over the years ,the water level was clear.

And safety to all of us,was very dear.
It slowly rised over the years.
Not as easy to notice when along with your peers.

Maybe the water was red.
Or maybe when it slowly rised,I was laying in bed.
Maybe I didn’t notice it at first.

At the same time,we all felt some kind of thirst.
Maybe if I get a floatie or two.
I would have been on the safe side, too.

Maybe eventually the water level would even.
How many years has it been, ten or seven?
The water may seem toxic at times.

Time passes and a bell chimes.
Will somebody save me,set me free?
From this cycle of thee?

Will this eventually become an uneven flood?
Will it affect our lives or mood?
Hopefully the water soon evaporates.

Just need to keep hopeful!
Even if it slowly rises.
You need to keep full of hope.

It’s all we have left these days.
When waves go by and ocean wave sways.
I cannot predict the future true.

Maybe it’ll get better.
Or someone will feel like a fool.
Maybe it’s a pool – memories and experiences.

Emotions and signs.
Maybe it’s a flood, full of opinions and words.
That really feels bad or hurts.

Will you help me swim?
Will you strengthen the fire,oh so dim?
Or will the flood fill to the brim?

Close your eyes and try to swim out.
Even if you are filled with doubt.
Remember what you fought.

Keep your posture straight.
Let the flood slowly go away,do not be afraid.
A pool of emotions, going through the motions.

And you’ll find new purpose and devotions.
