One moment you are concious.
The next half awake.
One moment you are walking.

The next you are in a lake.
It feels like an endless loop.
Of fatigue,exhaustion.

As I watch the flowers grow.
My eyelids slowly begin to fall.
Because I spent my whole day working.

Just for a minimal wage.
Studying for classes,as if I am a mage.
But one moment I am here on Earth.

The next I close my eyes,I am up in the skies.
And my mind tries to fight it.
But I can’t help it.

I really try my best.
I try to get decent rest.
But life is hard as of late.

There isn’t as much anymore on my plate.
And hunger makes me late.
It’s like one second I am right here.

The next I pass out.
In my bed,on the grass.
If only I could have just one blissful moment of peaceful silence.

Where I rest up well.
And my fatigue begins to swell up.
I can’t help it sometimes.

No,I can’t.
I know I may have overslept,I tell my teacher.
Or perhaps my boss.

Will they spare me,or treat me like a loss?
I am sorry teacher,I fell asleep.
But my exhaustion is very deep.

Some say it roots from mental health.
Or even your diet and physical health.
It roots deep within.

And it’s not always seen.
Like feeling tired after a long day.
Or running on coffee the whole day.

When we sleep,we dream far away.
And it’s very peaceful.
But you have to get up eventually.

For the plans won’t do themselves.
And you won’t get help from Christmas elves.
And you need to clean up the shelves.

Now it’s morning, you just want to sleep.
Five more minutes turn into hours.
Like you unlocked time travel powers.

And we freshen up with showers.
Whether you sleep night or day.
You still somehow feel tired all the way.

It’s almost like a disease.
I hope you rest up well and release.
And have peaceful dreams.
