Here in the garden, come with me.
It’s where we met, don’t you remember?
It’s the first time I saw that smile.

The one I long for and return.
Combined with his angelic laughter.
And so he smiles, that’s what i’m after.

When things feel rough and skies are darker.
As he told me here to sit and wait.
If I have to,I would wait for eternity.

If it means we don’t drift away.
And night after night,I wondered.
Am I doing everything right?

For his smile is such a sight.
It’s easy on the eyes.
Years pass by,vivid skies in my memory.

At night was a starry sky.
He listened to me as I cry.
And to say I wouldn’t do the same would be a lie.

Thousands of years passed by.
I waited as I watched the moonlit sky.
Am I a fool to feel this way?

Do you remember the nights we used to play?
Time passed by,yet the garden didn’t change.
Nor did the games we play.

I happily waited.
And beamed anytime he came back.
Because sometimes,he is the vitamin I lack.

Overtime,I made new friends.
But I still have the right to worry.
Time was in such a hurry.

Even if we do drift away, the memories won’t be blurry.
Clearer than the skies.
And then he smiles, that’s what I’m after.

Night after night,I listened to his laughter.
I was and still am,happy to stay.
I would even wait till I rot away.

And so,am I a fool?
We played in that garden everyday.
As lovely rhythms made us sway.

Here in the garden,he told me.
You won’t feel alone another day.
And gently held me close under the moonlight.

I hoped to never drift away.
Should I laugh?
Or should I worry?

Yet,he is here with me.
Through thick and thin.
Through sad and fine.

We played our game all this time.
And often, sadness felt like a crime.
The smile in his eyes, the sound of his laughter.

And hoped to never drift away.

    1. It’s very lovely but sad too. She feels insecure because she is a little afraid to give completely her heart to someone who is there who is listening and valueing her heart. She maybe has been hurt before by someone in her past and is afraid to believe fully. It’s natural to be scared but it’s taking a risk and you’ll get the appropriate surprise for your future.
