hello dearest Tim this is beautiful I enjoyed the metaphors here… I don’t know how to stop hoping no matter what I pray you find belief an understanding of God as I have found him truly to be I looked at church and never found him there… then my scope widened and I found him everywhere ❤️

Man, I love the part where you found an old smile. The whole piece is great but something about those two words together made me smile. And no, it’s not old! lol
It gave ma a feeling of nostalgia. Wonderful write amigo!

It is sad but you ended it with a bang. I love that you used the word stardust!
Even though she was tortured, you made her sparkle at the end.
Well done! -

War is not for lovers, nor for any real human… Unfortunately even when you don’t want to fight, sometimes there is no other option. sadly… it’s the people who get the bad consequence while the ones in power stay in power, greed… greed and more greed… their ego seems never to be filled, and I don’t believe these kind of people will learn anything, because they don’t look to this as “mistake”. Still, good peaceful coffee morning ☕☕ dearest Neville ✨🌻

Someone told me that to describe the feelings within shadow was a testament to writing good poetry. I don’t know about that, but I admit, I love this poem, the flow of it, and that you saw and felt it is warmly appreciated. I knew an artist friend who drew scenes in pencil. She had one piece, a landscape, done in black pencil that I swear when you looked at it deeply, you could see blue streaks flow in it. Some of that experience of seeing this piece of art is what I tried to capture in this poem and where that line: “…kaleidoscope of greys” came from.
Mary, thank you, your visits and comments mean a lot to me.

FlatDaddy, it thrills me that you were touched by this poem. You might be surprised to know that unruly moon gets really rambunctious at midnight. Then again, we are the same age, so you probably know all about unruly moons. At any rate I truly welcome your visit and thanks for a great comment (and message).
