The Eclipse

It was the beginning of the day.
Moon was down,sun is in the way.
You probably wondered,is this real?

The emotions I am about to feel?
But soon it started covering it with a black,dark cloak.
And the darkness behind it,it began to soak.

It was like a nymph had flied up in the sky.
And she covered the sun with a piece of cloth,not wondering why.
Maybe if you begin to watch it and let out a sigh.

You’ll magically float up in the sky.
And among the cloak,you begin to fly.
So much you can probably see behind the black cloak.

As the day goes on and a ticking clock.
Now,I have never seen one in person.
But can’t a girl have imagination?

If we all just got together,we’ll build a whole another nation.
Because nature,sunlight is my destination.
And I apologize for my procrastination.

The eclipse happened before your very eyes.
I know it doesn’t seem like much.
But it really brightens and widens my eyes.

It’s amazing how fast time flies.
One second it’s just a sunny day.
And then the very problems you attempt to fight.

Come now,take my hand.
I’ll take you to Neverland.
Where the sun and eclipse last forever.

With no harm or sadness whatsoever.
A place where stars greet you and space sing.
Like you are the most precious,living being.

I may have never seen an eclipse in person at all.
But if I just try to describe it,I’ll stand tall.
Eclipse is like a shadow.

In the dark or light,brooding day or night.
Sunlight soon catches up.
And gently looks you in the eyes.

Even though the spectacle soon is over.
You feel healthier and lighter than sober.
Let me take you to another land.

It’s where the eclipse is meant to last forever.
Maybe so just in our heads.
But atleast we are together.

A day to celebrate and love in November.
