Space Encounter

Your rocket flew.
And the dark space around you anew.
Everywhere around you,bright shiny stars.

Real,not locked up behind bars.
It’s like they twinkled in the dark sky.
With shiny,bright moonlight.

Are you glowing,dark starlight?
As you flew and explore.
You felt sad no more.

For the view you just saw before your eyes.
it is more than you can fantasize.
It’s like you were surrounded by sparkly glitters.

As the sky was made of dark shiny yarn,knitters.
But as you explored and went by.
You saw something far away in the sky.

You thought,maybe it’s a dream?
Or not what it seem?
Maybe it was a hallucination from the lack of oxygen?

Or maybe you had began to fantasize.
The light itself was far, so it had a small appearance or size.
But as you got closer,the soundwaves of space flow.

As you looked at it closer,you felt a connection grow.
In front of you was an alien alien.
They had unusual eyes,and was friendly,not a strike.

At first you thought,how could this be real?
Is this real,or just what I feel?
The alien spoke a language unknown.

But the voice was of someone you had grown to.
After a while,you two chat and realize.
That it wasn’t hostile after all these times.

So you told the alien your woes.
And it showed you the way back home.
And never left you completely alone.

Eventually,you saw its home planet.
Full of creatures and plants of all kinds.
Under the starry skies.

And time soon flies.
You two had grown close.
As space soundwave flows.

And a bond between you grows.
You wondered,how could all this be real?
Is contentment and happiness what I feel?

The stars anew once again.
And you had made a new friend.
One who will always help and defend.

As you wondered what it meant.
You never felt empty ever again.
