All Chapters in the Series: Poems

It’s in our instincts to run away.
Before things get bad all the way.
Sometimes, when you have a problem, you fight it at last.

You ignore all of it,untill it’s finally time to fight it.
And you certainly don’t have a blast.
Like a problem bugging us at day.

But eventually the puddle of ink, will snap and make you think.
At day,it’s quiet,at the back of your mind.
And follows into your dreams, way behind.

We try to sleep and forget.
But we feel the despair and regret.
It’s like living in a dream where you know it all.

But you don’t show it on the outside.
Where you ignore the upcoming fall.
And you end up having to fight it or crawl.

It’s like we try our best during day and let out a growl.
We are really just trying our best.
But the problem won’t let us rest.

Even if it’s in the back of the mind.
Or way,way behind your thoughts.
Eventually,it will burst into a bubble.

And cause you distress or trouble.
You try to follow the latest trends.
But with problems, sometimes you can’t make amends.

They are like almost invisible monsters that live in our heads.
And their goal is to tear us to pieces and shreds.
They stay day and night in our heads as thoughts.

And we end up having to fight.
And it’s really not a good sight.
We use all of our strength, but sometimes it’s not enough.

You pretend to be tough, like it’s not actually rough.
Hope is all we have these days.
We try to heal and find ways.

Problems are like a dress in lace.
We wear it with a bright smile on our face.
Untill it tears us to shreds.

And our tears come out as it understands.

    1. If hope is all we have, I’ll hold onto it like it’s a life raft, my life dependent on it.
      I love this, Rose.
