In front of you stood a mirror.
What do you see?
Tell me slow.

And I will lift you when you are low.
Sometimes,it shows your own reflection.
And sometimes,our insecurities.

Do you see a maiden as sweet and kind as can be?
Will my reflection ever let me be?
Tell me again, what do you see?

Tell me with a calm voice low.
Do you see yourself or your flaws?
Sometimes mirrors are cruel like that.

The insecurities hit us like a bat.
But deep in your mind, you can see.
There is more to you than people see.

You are way more than your looks.
I tell with a voice low.
And we begin to heal slow.

Who said you are not pretty?
Who said you are not kind?
Ignore the voices and don’t pay any mind.

Can you look in the mirror from the eyes of a child?
From a time we had hopes and dreams oh so wild?
Now look from the eyes of a teenager,a young adult.

And lastly, from the eyes of a wide, grown adult.
Each reflection seems or sounds different.
Lives change,people change.

And so do their minds.
After all the struggles and eternal fights.
But one day,we will break the curse and shatter this mirror.

Once and for all,for people of all ages.
Now let’s go back to the mirror.
Again,what do you see?

Do you see a young adult as achieving as can be?
A time expectations didn’t let me be?
So shatter this mirror and let us flee.

Away from insecurities and glee.
When life was as sweet as honey.
And we didn’t struggle with money.

But honey,if you help shatter this mirror.
We will be free from all evil.
And our vision won’t be as blurry.

Hurry and smash the window in pieces.
Since life often acts as it pleases.
The relief smashing this mirror releases.
