Color To My Life

You brought me color and cheer when I felt down.
Made me a rainbow when I was black and white.
When things were easy and my throat felt tight.

You drove me out of my cloudy mist.
And you filled up my pit of a dark void inside.
You brought sunshine and cheer into my life.

When I was black and white like a TV screen.
You hugged me and I did not want to scream.
Your colors dripped onto mine.

And slowly,I felt fine.
Your presence always brings me sunshine.
In a sunny,bright or gloomy day.

You brought me moonlight.
On lonely nights all the way.
When you came and saved me,I was a lost cause.

I know you can say the same too.
You put me together like a puzzle.
Which fit perfectly into my void.

From love and affection,I was devoid.
Yet you swept me off my feet.
And we managed to defeat all the sadness.

You gave me blue for the sunny skies.
And then pink for the cherry blossoms.
You gave me green so I can run on the grass.

And then gave me black when it’s night,gloomy too.
Before you came into my life,I was a black and white card.
And you were all I ever had.

When I called in the sky for an angel to save me.
I did not expect such bright colors upon me.
You fled down when I needed you most.

You warmed me up among snow and frost.
You showed me a new life theme song.
It played all day in my head.

I’m drawn to your eyes,you wipe the tears I shed.
You gave me red for lovely roses.
And for the hope that runs within me.

You gave me a gradient sunrise.
Yellow,orange and red.
You made sure I was well fed.

And I sleep peacefully in my bed.
When everything felt oh so gloomy.
You gave me hopes and dreams.

And when we spend time together,I instantly smile.
Wished you’d stay a long while.
When I had no color,you stepped in.

With you,I am the happiest I’ve been.
