The Woman I Ever Was

HomeSpiritualityThe Woman I Ever Was
Summary:
.I don't belong.

Seldom and rare
you may see me
in the exuding of love
through the hues of rain
around horizon sunset.

with no words

Ask the snowdrop how she blooms single
without a prince,
how mature the magnolia can be
alone and proud,
and how loving the rose is,
without any touch.

The vessel l have been
springing life in your heart,
the visions of heaven
that awake in it
the moment you deliver me a pulse.

I cup me in your palms
a full of Breath and words,
so poems can come alive
through the sacred unseen of;
“you are mine.”

How I am inlove,
even without you,
or any other.

How I am a no place
a no time
a no belonging,

ask the universe
where I am
it will respond
with versions of God
I resemble in each teeny
labor of love.

  1. I cannot recall a single poem of yours that once read I have not fallen in love with .. and this finer than fine example is no exception to that unwritten rule .. I think if I could be anything other than me right now, then I would be your pen .. Neville
