Will You?

I know I can be a little messed up.
I know I can sometimes be too much.
But tell me honestly.

Would you still love me in darkness beyond?
Far away from the safety of the front?
Would you still love me as I am?

If I was a damsel in distress in somebody’s lair?
And what if the years went by..
Time quickly fly.

And I get old and brittle.
I remember when I was little.
So full of joy.

But tell me honestly.
Would you still love me if I was no longer young?
Or as beautiful no more?

Would you take your hands in mine?
Comfort me all the time?
Perhaps even if I get wrinkly.

White,snow like hair.
Would you still adore me?
Would you treat me fair?

Would you give me anything to me if I was no longer young?
And would I still be your sun?
I know that no matter what.

The moon will be my number one.
My number one love.
And my safest place.

I know the moon will love me,no matter my life or pace.
Would the moon still shine upon me if I give up and die?
Would it still glow below me,in the dark night sky?

I know that I would love them no matter what.
No matter age,face or choice of hat.
But answer me honestly right now.

Would you still love me if I was no longer young or beautiful?
Or would you leave?
I have lived and seen so many things.

Talked to all kinds of beings.
Would you still be there for me?
Even if I have nothing but my aching soul?

I have done this,done that.
Sometimes I cannot admit.
So I try to write out my soul.

Would you still love me?
Or would I be a ghoul?
Would you still hold my hands if I used them to escape?

The past,painful landscape?
I hope when I do,you find me like diamonds.
Your teardrops would revive me from the dead and heal my soul.

Hold me close one last time as tears fall.
When I get to Heaven,I will bring you with me.
For you made life be heaven for me.

You always made me smile.
Would you still love me in time I felt foul?
And from my carcass,tree grow.
