There exists a spiderweb within.
Sometimes it traps flowers.
And sometimes it traps flies that fly right in.

The spiders who own it feel so swell.
When they eat their dinner ,bugs so swell.
Some prefer them raw.

And other spiders prefer them rare.
Some like flies and fireflies.
And others eat whatever they get.

The flowers they trap in those webs.
Are as rare as one can be.
Red roses,tulips.

And daisies full of bloom.
Stuck in the spiderwebs like family heirloom.
And when spring comes and flowers bloom.

The spiders pick them to decorate their webs.
To make it pretty,they say.
As kind as a spider gets.

And when dawn comes and stars are above.
They eat whatever they caught together.
In the spiderwebs they worked hard.

Daily and nighty to catch food and survive.
But sometimes, they add in little flowers.
Like paper daisies and flowers of bloom.

In times of woe and greed.
And skies of stars or blue.
Some spiders like red roses that bloom.

Maybe that is on the suit of the groom.
Others like daisies,sunflowers.
Because they give you secret powers.

Flower power,the bugs they devour.
Just to stay alive.
Making their spiderwebs all night.

Most spiders don’t care about the color.
But maybe the flowery odor.
Build a web and pick a color.

And life will feel fuller.
If I had my own web.
I would share it with friends.

Decorate with roses and make amends.
And when I get a special chance.
Maybe of happiness or romance.

What kind of spider would I be?
Venomous or as kind as can be?
Will you build a spiderweb with me?

Stay with me and set me free?
A spiderweb so pretty, all for me.
