Small,white ballerinas.
In the air cold,divine.
Is what snowflakes are.

You play to pass the time.
They gracefully move through the air.
And land in a pile.

White blanket,sun in the air.
And they have a friendly smile.
The air is their dance floor.

Their destination is the ground.
Where a soft,white blanket piles.
And it becomes tall and white.

Two meters of snow, snowing through the night.
When we were kids, snow was like a miracle.
It is made of snowflakes graceful.

Happy and divine.
We were kids,so we didn’t care about the cold.
Or atleast not at the time.

When the sunlight hit it,the snow softly shine.
When winter ends, we all make amends.
And we welcome spring.

And we wonder, what it would bring.
Next winter,snowflakes are back.
And they are even more graceful than ever.

They end up in huge piles.
And you build a snowman white.
Doesn’t matter if it’s day or night.

And when we are all done,we went inside.
And we had hot chocolate on the cold night.
Snowflakes,they have unique style.

White crystal crowns.
And white sparkling gowns.
Sadness always drowns when holidays are near.

And there is nothing we ever fear.
Snowflakes are all shapes and sizes.
Each one is unique.

All in their own ways.
I write and music plays.
Hoping this happiness stays.

Couples waltz,wind sways.
Now,today is new year.
I hope we defeat all our fear.

And make this year very dear.
That I am worried is clear.
So tell me how to feel better.

Will hot cocoa cheer me up?
Or maybe the dance of the snowflakes.
We all like to watch.

And new resolutions hatch.
Kids play and watch.
Snowflakes dance for me every year.

And we all hope, smile and cheer.
Would you eat the snow?
Snowflakes fall and flow.

They may seem small.
But it piles on and on as they fall.
