Romantic Struggles

They ask,is it easy?
Being a hopeless romantic above?
Does it make one happy?

Or does it trick and destroy?
Like playing with a dangerous toy.
Some say it makes you live in bliss.

Others say it’s painful,makes you let out a hiss.
Hopeless romantics are the kindest you’ve seen.
Due to things they have been through.

Light or dim.
Poems,fanfiction too.
They all cope the best they can,from this cruel truth.

And when the sun is down and moon is up.
We go under the stars and wish for somebody.
Anybody at all.

Hopeless romantics got deeper emotions.
And they often make you fall.
They understand things in a deeper debth.

And when their heart breaks again,tears.
Face is wet.
Hopeless romantics are people who try to escape.

The cruel world into a romantic landscape.
Fantasies,some of them true.
And others too unrealistic,make you feel like a fool.

We all gave a chance to cupid.
But he shot us in the heart.
We tried again.

But it sometimes break your heart.
Hopeless romantics are often not as easy to notice.
They often hide it well.

Oh,the love poems I would write.
Just to sleep peacefully at night.
They all wish for the can’t sleep love.

And for the affection they never had.
A world full of romance.
Lovers with a loving glance.

If only we were given a chance.
For a romantic ballroom dance.
In my head,all I see.

Pink elephants float to me.
Will they give me a deep romance?
Give a man a chance?

A lonely world is full of woe.
Defeat all my problems and foe.
Hopeless romantics are a whole another species.

Some read romance novels,series by series.
A love so fierce.
Will I ever have it all?

Emotions and thoughts inside me grow.
