She said, rockabye my baby, don’t you cry.
She worked hard by the waters as time fly.
When her baby was sad or upset.

She sang lullabies and felt no regret.
This is for the single moms out in the world.
So she was asked, how are you handling it?

Are you handling life well?
How is your kid doing?
Did you name her Daisy Bell?

When her baby cried oh so loud.
And frowned upon.
She sang this melody below.

As she rocked it very slow.
I promise I will never let you down.
And your life won’t be like mine.

Because no,it will be better.
For I’ll keep you warm.
Far away from any harm.

When days are cloudy and oh so gloomy.
He sees right through me.
And you feel sad and gloomy.

Rockabye,I will be there.
And my snacks I will share.
I will give you all the love I can.

So you never feel sad ever again.
And now she has a growing child.
Maybe not always,sometimes mild.

Or maybe she has a person in her life.
That helped her drop negativity and hate.
She told him,don’t you worry.

I will rock you if you need.
I’ll sing you lullabies so unique.
The poor girl just wanted a life for him.

For him to feel happy and learn to swim.
When she talks to him she knows.
The sadness inside us that slowly grows.

But her sunrays follow.
And holds close the moon.
In return, every morning he sang a lullaby.

Hush little baby,don’t you cry.
I will help you heal and fly.
She smiled then the brightest she could.

He could cheer her up without uttering a word.
She fought for him,kept going.
He tells her, your life won’t be like mine.

But together they begin to shine.
She is his ,he is hers.
Are some very familiar words.

Rockabye baby,don’t you cry.
I will hold you and help us both fly.
