Paths

Where do the paths lead?
When we thrive in life or bleed?
Are the stones just crooked?

Or is it something you realize?
Does life go on – or happen in front of your very eyes?
Some paths are grassy,with trees so tall.

Others are impossible to walk on,making you stumble or fall.
Another is covered in cherry blossom trees.
And one is filled with butterflies and bees.

In one of them,the moon glows.
And rhytmic nature,river flows.
When I say this is the path I want.

But somehow,I just can’t seem to find it as easily.
Not especially these days.
I might go on the grassy one.

As weeks pass on,and so do days.
I tried to walk on the one with sunshine rays.
But life had different fate for me and ways.

If I could build my own path,it would be covered in gems.
And the path will have glass-like stones.
The sun would always shine.

And the moon there will also be mine.
A path where you feel no pain at all.
Even if you had your one big fall.

A path where you walk ,not crawl.
And nobody falls on the floor.
Maybe I’ll manage and find the perfect path for me.

It might be crooked,but it’s destiny.
When I was little,I hoped for a fairytale ending.
Wasn’t that true?

I hoped to find a prince charming.
But you grow up and feel like a fool.
Maybe if I went on my dream path of stones.

I would have my prince charming and no broken bones.
As much as I can tell.
From the sky,this emotion fell.

I hoped for a stone path like in a fairytale.
Preferably close to a wishing well.
So many paths await.

Almost like a parfait.
And adventures await.
I know if the moon is with me, there’ll be nothing to worry about.

But life stress me out and hurry.
And certain memories become blurry.
Tell me,who am I?

I rather choose the path in the sky.
And among birds ,fly.
Where is my desired place.

There is more to what a person sees or says.
