Owls,so pretty and smart.
When they fly, they steal my heart.
With fluffy necks,wings and specks.

With feathers so delicate and divine.
Hoot,one says.
Hoot,says another.

That’s why owls help defeat cold and fire.
They spread their wings and fly.
Over to things they see, can’t deny.

They soar up high in the sky.
We all love them,can’t deny.
If one ever lands on you or your head.

You’d be considered lucky,in the rain so wet.
In sunny weather some of them like to nap.
In rainy weather, they hide in the trees.

And that way, they don’t pay any fees.
They sing their magical song.
Hoot,goes the owl.

And it goes on for very long.
It’s like a melody from the gods above.
And to learn it is not that hard.

Just say hoot with me once more.
And there will be no need to walk out that door.
Wooden planks creak on the floor.

And owls come in from the open window or door.
One,two,three or four.
Look at as many as you like.

Owls are very smart and kids alike.
Would you get an owl as a pet?
Or would you just go look for a different pet?

Or maybe you don’t like to walk in the rain, getting wet?
They all have individual facts.
And when you tell them, time stops.

They have the most beautiful of eyes.
And can rotate their necks 360 degrees aswell.
Their diet includes small rodents or insects.

They say if you saw an owl and it hoot.
Your loved one may die or lose loot.
And they all produce different sounds.

So many species exist.
So could you resist?
Owls have farsighted vision.

So magical, you’d wonder if it’s an illusion.
Nature and sounds fusion.
They mostly hunt at night.

Flying in an incredible height.
Hush now,don’t fight.
Hoot under the glowing moon at night.

And you’ll be alive once more.
