Night

Many are scared of darkness.
But they have not seen the moonlight’s brightness.
Nighttime is a time for owls and me.

A black charcoal sky and stars that wink at me.
The big,black ink is our favorite.
For the stars it shows beyond.

Miles,light years away.
I could sit and stargaze all night and day.
A night is a time most of us sleep.

Some of us can’t.
And others have interruptions in our heads.
Which cannot be fixed with meds.

Nighttime is a quiet,peaceful time.
Or atleast to me.
I think it does shine.

Many say,it’s oh so scary.
Many say,it’s oh so dark.
They say,it looks so gloomy.

And dogs bark.
But the night will be your friend.
For the moon wants to help and protect.

And fix any flaws and defect.
The night is quiet,and so it listens.
It doesn’t judge.

It doesn’t scream.
It smiles at you,and then you go to sleep.
You begin to dream,the night crickets lull you in.

And the night is kinder than it seem.
And when night comes,don’t be afraid.
Just think about the memories you already made.

The night will lend an ear.
When you think your doom is near.
Night wipes all the fear.

Night switches to day.
To the moon,the sun is oh so dear.
Which one is better is clear.

The night has glitter skies divine.
They twinkle brightly and shine.
I personally find nighttime peaceful.

Some are scared of the dark.
But stars often spark.
Just reach into the sky.

And bring a star home.
You won’t cry no more.
And all the fear is tossed on the floor.

Night has a dark lore.
And it opens a new door.
What you may find depends.

But the stars will be your friends.
You’ll be rocked in the moon’s hands.
Night and day will make amends.

But nighttime always stands.
Night is like a forbidden romance.
A secret between you and me.

Let’s fly among the stars and reach.
We will heal your broken heart.
And night will take a part.

You won’t ever be sad.
Just like the hatter oh so mad.
