Sometimes I ask myself.
How could you love someone like her?
Broken,shattered glass.

Nice personality but lower class.
She’s been through Hell and back.
And so there is qualities she lack.

They ask me,how could you love someone like him?
His light ,his fire is so low and dim.
Both of them used to have a flame oh so bright.

We used to stargaze and talk all night.
How could you keep someone like her?
Someone who loves someone like him?

No matter how dim the flame is.
Time heals,they say.
Your flame will soon brighten.

Is what everyone usually say.
They ask me once more, pointing at him.
How could you love someone like him?

After all the things he did.
But I wave and tell them,no.
He is still a person with a soul.

His soul may be corrupted.
His peace in mind,interrupted.
But you can still love him true.

I am not perfect,too.
Who is perfect or normal these days?
I tell them, what does normal even mean?

Besides the norm people nowadays redeem.
They ask him,how could you love someone like her?
I tell him lovingly with a purr.

Nobody is perfect, and so am I.
If we focus on this together,we’ll begin to fly.
So what if others judge us for our deeds?

I think what matters more is the wound that bleeds.
I know I can heal yours, you can heal mine.
I know we not perfect all the time.

We can be imperfect together.
We might even begin to glow.
Flowers bloom and begin to grow around us.

For our energy is unmatched.
We always watched from between the crowd.
But our curiousity was not mild.

Birds flock,so colorful and wild.
If we just accept one’s imperfections.
We will float.

On a yacht,on a boat.
