Perhaps you have a faucet in your eyes.
And people twist it.
Emotions you recognize.

But not explain or apologize.
And so they call you,cry baby.
For your tears and eyes oh so blue.

You’ve lost all your friends, that’s true.
You tell yourself, it’s them, not you.
Because people can sometimes be cruel.

And so they chanted, cry baby.cry baby.
But do you even care?
Cry baby,cry baby.

For your baby face is very fair.
I am a person you may not know.
When I look at you,I see sadness.

cry baby tears arise.
And when we talk and laugh.
I think about your solemn sighs.

And the signs you have from trauma unfair.
Like somebody twisted your faucet.
And brought you into their lair.

When I look at your baby blue eyes.
And the way you dress, let out sighs.
I see a part of myself and you fall apart.

Because I also tried to explain.
The pain and bullying oh so plain.
I know you better than anyone else.

I may not be with you as kids, but we can play house.
I have the same exact faucet in my eyes.
For mine can be very sensitive,so is yours.

Cry baby,they chanted.
And you look for different options and doors.
They called me cry baby during that.

Why they hated me?
I did not take a part.
The words repeated in my head.

Over and over.
Sanity got ran over.
Sometimes hope,too.

God,I feel like such a fool.
I just wanted to go and stop this madness.
Why does it matter how you dress or act?

Aren’t we all the same?
Maybe we don’t share the same name.
But our species had a lot of fame.

So who it is to blame?
Perhaps somebody not raised right.
He twisted my faucet.

I couldn’t even fight.
For what is wrong or right.
They called me a cry baby,I did not care.

So I drowned myself in hope and glee.
I wondered, what is wrong with me?
I didn’t need to be stronger,instead protected.

You may have not seen my face.
I try to write this with grace.
Dark tears down my face.
