They tell the tale of a cursed forest.
Many walked in and never came back.
The forest is dark,gloomy.

And dogs warn and bark.
The trees are tall and covered in leaves.
Others not as much.

And have dying leaves.
They say,if you step in you won’t come back.
They say a beast lurks in it.

And food it does lack.
As you crunched the leaves beneath your feet.
You hear the song of birds.

It sounds so sweet.
it sounds so innocent.
So why do they say it’s dark?

Alas,you walked in the fog.
Through mist and even found a frog pond.
But you feel watched by invisible eyes.

You try to brush it off.
And let out silent sighs.
Eventually after walking for a while.

The moon came up and you try to smile.
Alas,before you appeared the ghost.
Of someone she used to be.

At first she seems creepy.
But she means no harm, trust me.
She slowly walked over.

And her dull eyes make her look stronger.
But is she really evil?
You can see all the flaws.

All the problems and past memories.
Would you still hold her hand?

Tell her, find out what’s she’s meant?
But some wonder, what even is she?
Is she an illusion,a misty memory?

Or maybe a lonely ghost?
Soul without a host?
Would you still look her in the eyes?

Eyes oh so dull.
Her heart beat,emotions full.
And her mind full of thoughts.

Is she a banshee of her past?
Will you trust her fast?
Don’t trust the dark shadow she cast.

For she is radiant in sunlight.
And she bravely tries to fight.
Her tears back down at night.

Her emotions not always in sight.
Trust her and she might.
Give you peaceful sleep tonight.

A ghost or banshee?
Does it really matter?
She’s actually kind,said the letter.

Don’t judge a person by their looks.
Their trauma,pain or thoughts.
And you’ll wear comfy clothes.
