The ballroom music softly filled my head.
And figures appeared before my hand.
Classy gowns,upside down frowns.

And fancy clothes all around.
A ballroom dance,newfound romance.
Is what my heart remembers and found.

Once upon a December,I remember it well.
I was going there, near my wishing well.
I wished for a figure holding me close.

As my dress sways,music flows.
Music plays,couples swayed.
And the music softly played.

It played in my ears.
And it erased all my fears.
As horses pranced on a silverstorm below.

I swayed and began flow.
One step,then another.
I was dancing with another.

With big,blue classy gown.
I wondered,will I drown?
In this fantasy alone?

Will my life end here,or will I find my home?
The memories swayed in my head.
While my real body laid in bed.

Things my heart would yearn to remember.
But was it ever true?
Was my heart ever complete?

Or will this fantasy get it hollowed, too?
Once upon a December,I continued to sway.
In the arms of someone as music play.

With dancing bears and painted wings upon.
I remember my imaginary,childhood home.
Somewhere I went to in matters of woe.

Where there is a ballroom and everyone dances slow.
And a song someone sang.
This fantasy materializes before you, angels sang.

Could it be my imagination?
Or did do others yearn for it too?
Am I unique of just a fool?

Dancing bears with painted wings arise.
Let me fantasize till sunrise.
Let me escape and put on an invisible cape.

I know I will see this world again in my dreams.
But isn’t this image,oh so tranquil?
And it makes my stomach,oh so full.

I know I’ll always be there in my heart.
Long ago,I sang this song.
And it wasn’t very long untill it all reappears in front of your eyes.

Tell me,how do I live in it?
When it’s all in my head?
Does it keep my mind rested or fed?

Join me this December.
And this fantasy will last forever.
