Today is a day oh so merry.
Valentine’s day,happiness when people marry.
When everyone exchanges chocolates.

And sugar coated sweets.
Teddy bears,red roses.
And the smooth jazz beats.

When cupid shot his arrows at me.
I did not expect it either.
Cupid said,you’ll sleep peacefully.

And you’ll have a filling dinner.
For a while ,cupid felt like a stranger.
You may not know him well.

Sometimes he hurts us,or throws our hopes into a well.
But I know,that when he shoots his arrows.
He gets the angle just right.

He shot me and you.
And we thought about it all night.
When I first realized it,with music oh so dear.

Movies,conversations when we thought our doom was near.
But we wiped away eachother’s fear.
Cupid shot me right in the heart.

Now you are my special dart.
I never expected this part of my life.
You lit up my darkest of night.

So tell me,will you be mine?

When you are near,I fall into a pile on the floor.

Puppy love may be hard to ignore.
