There’s a villainous man
Or Maybe just a guy
Who made a mistake
To fool around with I
But he had a wife
A secret he had kept
Only did the research
Brought it to light
Years may have passed
And yet I haven’t forgotten
Nor will ever forgive
So on do I lurk
Staring at her name
Wondering if she knows
And the vengeance it takes
To tell her of his deeds
He is scared of me
This i know
And I bask in his fear
Watch him squirm
And take great delight
To bring his world down
But along would hers fall
And there do I pause

For me, your ability to feel compassion and empathy (even while scorned) speaks the loudest here. I am also certain you’re aware, deep down, that the offender will pay the piper in the end, without anyone’s help. Pillars of sand always wash away, my friend. Interesting and fantastic vent!

Thank you much!!
Dear C,
I echo the thoughts of Detritus. The story line in this piece is very thoughtful of the unknowing party and bringing the offenders dirt into the open will mock what she’s built. Fabulous insight, also protective at your own expense. Sad subject, terrific writing. H🌷
Thank you!!!
