I write the way a pulse moves
close to the surface,
restless,
honest.
Not everything I feel fits cleanly
into conversation or daylight,
but ink has room
for what the body carries in secret.
These pieces come from
the underside of moments
the breath before the kiss,
the hesitation before the wanting breaks,
the memory your skin keeps
long after you’ve walked away.
If you read these words
and something shifts in you,
it’s because we’ve met
in the same quiet place.

Thank You, Crimsin. You’re sweeter than Honey…Lovely too.
Nice! It reads very well, with a gentle informative approach, poetic too. You are clever with your descriptive phrasing as well.
