There’s a song that I know.
That stuck with me as I grow.
With soothing melody,it relaxes my senses.

And paid off all of my worries and expenses.
It’s a song whose lyrics I know well.
A song that describes me or my outer shell.

When I am sad,I listen to the melody.
Beautiful,divine.
When I felt at my worst.it made me shine.

As the voice in the song spoke to me.
He said, cry it out, you’re with me.
He told me ,go ahead and cry, little girl.

Nobody will judge.
Nobody will be mad at you.
And your life won’t smudge.

The melody was probably ringing in my head.
I thought about it as I went to bed.
And when I dream,I see the song alone.

Playing in my dream house or home.
Where nobody gets mad at your snaps.
Where nobody lies and everyone speaks facts.

Where nobody gets injured or sad.
And you never, ever feel foul or bad.
The music, melody became a tall house.

That matched the color of my blouse.
It lit up in candlelight and glee.
And I saw in it,the younger me.

My younger me when she cried all alone.
When she had nobody else to share her home.
The voice once again said, cry it out.

The thoughts,oh so loud.
I know you fought, but now it’s time to rest.
Listen to my voice and don’t protest.

The song wears a gold crown.
As it turns into the moon at night.
And red rose petals in sight.

They tell you,remove the thorns.
And maybe I did in a trance.
With the glow of the moon, let’s dance.

The song wears a gold cape.
And gold dust in the bag.
Lyrics sprinkles on my eyes.

I feel them close as I sleep peacefully at night.
The song eventually ends.
Will I ever try romance?

And we try to make amends.
Angels of music will be your friends.
Come on now,take my hands.

Swing to the beat.
We’ll never admit defeat!
Not in a crowded party club.

Music is like a warm hug.
