We are all authentic. Even if we hide behind masks of obscurity. I guess human beings have to navigate the weird system they find themselves in.
Very thought provoking work.

I’ve always tried to be my authentic self but you really made me think on this one. Guess we all have parts we don’t speak of. Maybe it matters that we realize and work on them even if they stay behind closed doors?

“GULP!” 😳
Well, Dear Poetess,
So much for the site’s pornagrophy rules … LOL!I’m not so sure it’s all a sin
because done over and again,
there’s a beauty in every stroke
of throaty moans sooo softly spoke.“You hesitate, but in the end,
I smother you in evening sin.
By midnight moon, you drown content
between my legs as I repent.” (there’s nothin’ better’n making-up)Not a lot of metaphor, but loads of excellent imagery, giddy flow, smoothly laid syntax, succulent stimulation, consistent 8-count meter, spot-on rhyme scheme ‘n art choice, and presentation appeal.
It’s more than a little obvious this is definitely not your first poetry rodeo … masterfully done, Lady-Poet.Now, excuse me, please, while I dip my head in a bucket of ice! ⁓ Rascal🖌

Wow! Wow! Wow!
What a review, Rascal, and thank you for that! I’m honored. I think you covered everything from mechanical technique to emotional effect. Wait… there are rules on this site? Shit. Let me look that up. Hold up, someone’s at the door carrying fuzzy handcuffs – and they’re not in uniform. Let me take a rain check on that.Rascal, this review is amazing. I’m giddy. Thank you!

In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure-dome decree
On railroad tracks I climax
Between them wide I do foresee

I don’t know… ask Samuel Taylor Coleridge…your Xanadu always reminds me of his Kubla Khan without the trains of course..
