Wake up to a face
Your face
The current face
Not the face you rememberMemory can distort reality
Reality is a bucket of ice water
Even the eyes change
Once showed hope is now resignedTruth is
It is not the face that is disheartening
It is the day
That states you are no longer spring flower but an autumn…Read More -

This is a great write.
The reality is we all age. Itβs not so bad.
But realizing that comes with wisdom and learning to embrace the life youβve lived and where you are mentally.
Iβm happy at 51. You couldnβt pay me to be in my thirties.
Hell no. Hahaha -
Powerfully penned, Fia. Excellent write that we can all relate to my friend. I’m happy where I am, don’t wanna go back in time. lol. Nicely done. Appreciate you, Cuz.

You have touched upon a very important topic with your beautiful and meaningful poem, dear FiΓ . Unfortunately, our Western society is obsessed with a cult of youth. In other cultures, by contrast, older people are more likely to be associated with wisdom and life experience. Fortunately, the ‘army’ of women who are not buying into this youth cult based on outward appearances is growing larger and larger. We only age in years, but we mature in terms of our life experience and our wisdom; our faces reflect the beauty of a life well-lived.
βHereβs to us older women! -
My sister casually announces she’s fat from time to time and she’s smaller than me. Throws the brain when someone declares themselves to be in a deficit but they still have more than you. I find it funny that I’m actually more content with my aging than I was in my youth. Guess it’s what we take from the life we live. Good write, Fia

Powerfully penned, Adel. Excellent write with a lot of fire my friend. Amazing flow with a lyrical vibe, makes sense being you’re listening to music. I know I’m not alone now, I write while listening to music as well. Nicely done as always. Appreciate you.

Dear A,
Chaos in color. Sounds like my closet and then my brain. But mostly my closet. My brain is largely grey matter. Iβm off topic hang onβ¦Iβm back- Iβm a fucking carnivore too! Shred it sister. I really dug this because it is edgy and it is raw. And it makes me want to ditch convention and just be feisty. Fabulous.
Just fabulous. H 🌷-
Hi H!
I would love to see your closet, Iβm intrigued now. Haha
And I have seen your brain!
Itβs a beautiful brain- you are an awesome writer- donβt forget that!
You should have a little spice daily chica.
At least one little teaspoon a day, just like honey. Itβs good for your soul. Trust me!
Iβm so happy to see ya on my page sister!Love ya and miss ya!

I’m with you dearest Tim I hate death, the look of it, the feelings it brings the unfairness, I was watching a nature program about a grizzly cub and it’s mom she led him high into the snowy mountains but the incline was too steep for the cub he tried so many times to follow her just to land on the rocks below to die it made me cry it was unfair… great write ❤️

This is deep.
Death is unfair and painful for loved ones. It absolutely feels unfinished.
Great perspective Tim. -

Wow my friend! This is a punchy and powerful view of death. Yes the unfinished business both between people and creatively that death leaves incomplete. If only we could have more time to finish our lives and do the things we set out to. And then there are the interpersonal relationships with unfinished business. Old wounded things that were never healed or forgiven between people. I know so well what your poem speaks of. You take the most important thing in life death and put it into a concise form that explores the crucial facets of death with great poetry.
