    Die Alone

I can't seem to heal these painful scars the ones that are running down my arms feels like my time is coming to an end when every thought pushes me to the edge and as I breathe into the night I know I'll never...

    • This is a good Halloween poem. Life is cruel and die alone is the worst.

    • Awww. This is writing that comes from everywhere. From watching loved ones go through suffering or ourselves.
Writing is a great escape but sometimes it sticks. There is no escaping but in that moment of writing we are controlling the pen. We are the master of how it’s written. This is powerfully bittersweet.

And I gotta give a shout out to that pic!

      • My writing goes to dark places more than i would like. But it’s a way to get those feelings out.

        Thanks for the read friend

    • Powerfully penned, Nick. Amazing write my friend. Appreciate you.

    • The world can get pretty dark. though I would like to think it’s not about the end but about the now.

      Thanks for the read friend.

    • This is moving and being human is not an easy existence at all

    • Beautifully expressed. It’s just what I needed to see before I signed off. It is so relaxing and sets the reader in a calm sense of being.
      Awesome.

    Beauty Hides

I've seen where beauty hides  It in our hearts of freedom  As the land escapes the tide  I have seen where beauty hides    Your eyes are the ponds  In the shade of summer  Your eyes are the stream in spring Your eyes are blue skies of...

    • Wonderful write. It has a calming effect, even.
Not enough honest, heart felt writes are done by men. It’s good to see you’re brave enough to pick up that torch. You did so well.

      • Thanks for reading.
I wrote this ten years ago. There is no side of life I am afraid of taking on. Thanks for your kind words.
        Regards James

    • This is calming. Nicely done

    Blurred Reflection

As she sat down on the bench in front of the vanity, she found herself in an unfamiliar place. How long had it been since she had sat here? Who was this reflection looking back at her? Had it...

    • We remembered this time, hahaha. Thank you Lady this one took it’s toll of us, but we got it written

    • I have seen similar situations. Habits can manifest into monsters. Change people into someone
you don’t recognize. By the time you realize what happened it’s too late, too many bridges burned.
I believe as long as you’re alive you can change but at times people feel it’s too difficult. They prefer what is familiar.
This write really reminds me of friends who get lost in finding themselves. They don’t remember how to look beyond that mirror. Great reflective write.

      • Not only does misery love company, but at times both Misery and her company are unaware of it. Thanks Lady

    • What a story, Me. She got herself together one more time and did the routine before she can move on.
It’s hard for some. It would be for me.
      You presented this well.

      • Hahaha, maybe she got herself together once again and went out, before returning and dying beside her soul mate. Just a thought, Thanks Lady
